Ms. Forero is an essential part of the dual immersion programs at Buncombe County Schools. Ms. Forero teaches in both English and Spanish. On Monday, her students gave a winter animal presentation entirely en Español.

North Carolina has a diverse landscape composed of the three regions; mountains, piedmont and coastal plain. Houses in each of those regions are made up of different materials to withstand the elements. Fourth graders at North Buncombe Elementary were tasked with the assignment to make houses out of natural materials.
