Welcome to First Grade! We are going to have a great year. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Appalachian State University. I started teaching at North Buncombe Elementary in 1992. In 2016, I earned my National Board Certification. I have taught fourth, second and first. First grade is my favorite! Your child's growth will be visible this year. I am always amazed each month how much the students improve.
